Over the weekend, the Wall Street Journal published an opinion piece with a headline containing a very loaded term: “Jihad”.

“Welcome to Dearborn, America’s Jihad Capital,” it read and argued after the October 7 Hamas terrorist attack on Israel, there were several protests and rallies defending the radical group and listed several detailed examples out.

“Thousands march in support of Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran. Protesters, many with kaffiyehs covering their faces, shout ‘Intifada, intifada,’ ‘From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,’ and ‘America is a terrorist state.’ Local imams give fiery antisemitic sermons. This isn’t the Middle East. It’s the Detroit suburb of Dearborn, Mich,” the piece read.

This was too much for President Joe Biden, who is looking for opportunities to suck up to the radical left-wing elements turning their backs on his re-election prospects.

Biden said it was wrong to blame “a group of people based on the words of a small few,” Reuters reported.

“That’s exactly what can lead to Islamophobia and anti-Arab hate, and it shouldn’t happen to the residents of Dearborn – or any American town.”

“Islamophobia and all forms of hate have no place in Michigan, or anywhere,” Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer declared Sunday.

But neither Biden or Whitmer, nor any other Democrat (except perhaps U.S. Rep. Shri Thanedar), has ever said anything about the chants at the protests and rallies, and they we very hard to ignore.

Detroit News reporter Jakkar Aimery reported during a October 20 school walk-out, students chanted “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” and “Allahu Akbar,” a phrase shouted by those waging holy war.

“There is only one solution, Intifada revolution!” they chanted October 15:

The large throng of people occupying a public roadway — which Biden is now attempting to dismiss as “a small few” — looked like something out of a movie:

“Stand up, fight back!” they chanted as they swarmed Fordson High School October 15:

“If it means we die for the freedom of Palestine, we are ready to die,” this man said:

October 29, Whitmer canceled a charity fundraiser appearance at Bint Iebail Cultural Center in Dearborn due to planned protests that would threaten her safety.

New Generation for Palestine announced the sitting governor was “not welcome” in Dearborn.

Whitmer caved to the threats and backed out of the event:

The Wall Street Journal opinion piece referenced The Midwesterner headline, “Michigan rally cheers Hamas attack,” which took place October 10 at Ford Performing Arts Center.

After news that babies had been butchered at the hands of Hamas terrorists, Imam Imran Salha of Islamic Center of Detroit responded during the rally by denouncing what he described as Israeli atrocities, “They left the fire in our hearts that will burn that state until its demise,” apparently referring to Israel.

Osama Siblani, publisher of Arab American News, told the crowd Hamas is not a terrorist organization, while at other times, the crowd chanted, “Free, free Palestine!”

The raucous crowd also chanted, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free!” and “No justice, no peace!”

Biden and Whitmer can wring their hands all they want about a Wall Street Journal op-ed, but the evidence indicates of course Dearborn is a hotbed for Islamic extremism. Are they, and Biden’s FBI, looking the other way on threatening, extremist statements simply for votes?
