Detroit Grand Prix winner Scott Dixon complained Sunday about the city’s poor roads that comprised the road course.
The Indycar car driver, who hails from New Zealand, gave a frank assessment of Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s Michigan:

While noting the diversity of tracks, Dixon said the Indianapolis Motor Speedway was smooth last weekend, while, “We’re here in Detroit, very bumpy street course. You know, Detroit needs to work on its streets a little bit.”
“Everybody in Detroit will agree with your comments about the roads,” WXYZ reporter Jeanna Trotman responded.

“I’m sorry!” Dixon said.
“No, that’s the thing, trust me,” Trotman added.
Rival driver Alex Palou complained last year about the poor track conditions.
