Donald Trump continues to pick up support in the Midwest as poll released Monday by Survey USA finds the Republican challenger has the support of 38% of Black voters in Minnesota.
Survey USA polled 556 likely voters from Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District Oct. 7-13 for KSTP-TV in Minneapolis and found Vice President Kamala Harris — whose running mate, Tim Walz, is governor of the state — wins the support of 47% of Black voters.
The poll also found Harris just two points ahead of Trump in Minnesota, 47% to 45%.

According to the survey, 59% of Black voters say they are “Absolutely Certain” to vote, while 15% said they are “Almost Certain.” One percent say they have already voted.
Trump is narrowly winning white voters over Harris, 48% to 45%. Of that group, 72% said they are “Absolutely Certain” to vote, while 9% said they already did.
“Trump holds commanding leads among those voters most concerned with immigration (80 points), those focused on taxes (46 points), and those who say inflation is the most important issue (33 points),” Survey USA noted. “Harris holds similarly strong leads among those who say healthcare is the top issue (75 points), those focused on gun control (61 points), and those concerned about abortion (55 points).”
