Angela Jones is the type of politician that some may want to get behind.
The 42-year-old mother of three is campaigning to represent Michigan’s 37th House District on a platform that includes a focus on health care, LGBTQ+ rights, and “character and leadership,” earning her the endorsement of progressive groups like We the People-Michigan, Michigan AFL-CIO, the UAW, Planned Parenthood, and the American Federation of Teachers-Michigan.
She also has a lot of fans online, where she’s better known as “Angi Monique” on OnlyFans, the adult content creator site where she charged folks a monthly fee to access videos and images of her performing sex acts, masturbating and posing nude, Times Now reports.

“You’re just now finding this out?” Jones texted to REAL News Michiana when the site first highlighted her lucrative home business in July. “I’ve been public about it for two years. Pretty sure everyone already knows about it and they don’t care.
“Why don’t you use your platform to do actual good for the community instead of just attacking people?” she asked.
Jones has since shut down her OnlyFans page, which isn’t mentioned on her official campaign website.
“I’m a resident and homeowner here in Southwest Michigan where I graduated high school, attended college, and now live with my husband,” the site reads. “I’ve had the pleasure of watching my children grow up here. I actively participate and volunteer in the community that I proudly call home.”

Jones started a “photography business” in 2009 that has since tanked, and she’s running for a seat in Lansing in hopes of changing the trajectory of the state’s depressing economy.
“I created a thriving multi-six figure career and supported my family, a testament to my hard work ethic and ability to get things done,” according to her campaign site. “I found passion in my work until the current economic disaster hit and ripped the rug out from under me. I’m now watching my friends and their businesses close around me, hearing the anger and hurt in their voices.
“I feel that same fear of what happens when we can’t pay our bills. I feel frustrated at the skyrocketing cost of living. And I know what it feels like not to be heard and feel gaslit by those in positions of power that are failing their constituents.”
Jones is running as a Democrat, hoping to join what’s currently the first Democratic government trifecta in Michigan in 40 years.

She ran unopposed in her party primary, and now faces off against incumbent Rep. Brad Paquette, who took office in 2023 as the first Republican to represent the district in two decades.
Both Paquette and Jones live in Niles.
Through Oct. 20, Jones has raised $5,293 since January 2023 from 38 unique contributors, while Paquette has raised $22,910 from 23, according to Ballotpedia.
While it’s unclear who is currently leading the race, Paquette is highlighting the controversy and the irony of Jones’ endorsements with just days left before Election Day.
“The Michigan American Federation of Teachers @aftmichigan endorsed an online sex worker against me (a former public school teacher),” Paquette posted to X this week, along with a “payday promotion” from AnjiMonique. “This flyer was easily googleable. This teacher’s union takes ‘vote blue no matter who’ pretty seriously.”
